Dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers are ENERGY STAR labelled products, which indicates high energy efficiency. Heating Systems: High efficiency heating systems are installed in all suites and common areas.

Centralized high efficiency domestic hot water heating systems have been installed in the building.

Three level 2 electric vehicle chargers are positioned on the first level of the parkade, with 37 extra stalls capable of providing charging in the near future.

Oliver’s overall emissions are 30% lower than required by the National Energy Code for Buildings in Canada (NECB).

Exterior cladding elements are made from natural cementitious materials, which reduces carbon emissions during production.

Common areas and suites are designed with low-flow flush and flow plumbing fixtures that save roughly 33% of potable water compared to a similarly designed building with higher flow fixtures.

Carpet selected is Carpet and Rug Institute Green Label Plus certified, demonstrating improved air quality for occupant health.

All hard surface flooring is certified as FloorScore and GreenGuard compliant, ensuring zero harmful chemicals are installed.

The Oliver has a contiguous window wall system providing an airtight seal to ensure consistent clean air throughout the building.

The residential garbage room accepts commingled recycling and organics.

Some products used in the amenity rooms are packaged, recycled, and repurposed into new aluminum and compost.

As a result, daily tenant carbon emissions are greatly reduced from minimized driving.

Oliver will provide a fleet of electric bicycles for resident use capable of traveling 70+ kilometres on one charge, reducing vehicular use.
